2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the young people, college age saints and young adults; let us pray that none would be “carried off as spoil” through the philosophies of this age or the temptations of the world (Col. 2:8; Matt. 6:13) but that they all would “shine as luminaries in the world” “in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation” (Phil. 2:15)
3. The FTTA gospel trips taking place in Europe and North America this month; a total of 233 saints will participate in these trips:
a. The gospel trips in Europe will consist of 16 teams and will reach 20 countries in Europe, and will take place between January 26-February 9
b. The gospel trips in North America will consist of 20 teams in various locations throughout Canada and the United States, and will take place for the most part between January 27-February 11
c. Pray specifically for the two teams which will come to New York this week; one team (6 saints) will serve in NYC and New Jersey; the other team (7 saints) will visit the churches in Upstate NY
4. The Lord’s move in the United States–That the Lord would preserve this nation for the preaching of the gospel and the spread of His testimony
5. Thanksgiving to the Lord for HIs faithful and loving care for the church in NYC and prayer for the citywide gathering of the church on Lord’s Day, February 5
6. The Lord’s move in Brazil:
a. The summer school of truth for the churches in Brazil being carried out this week
b. That the Lord would supply all the needs for the purchase and renovation of the new hall in São Paulo
7. The International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) to be held in Anaheim, CA over the weekend of February 17-19
8. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)
