1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for blessing the Young Working Saints and Young Families Conference this past weekend with His speaking; the general subject of the conference was Being Empowered in the Grace Which is in Christ Jesus to be Teachers, Soldiers, Contenders, Farmers, and Workmen, based on 2 Timothy chapter 2
2. The salvation of the children in grade 5–Let us pray for the ongoing, week by week citywide labor of the preaching of the gospel to the fifth grade children
3. That the saints who are passing through various trials would not lose heart but rather experience “being guarded by the power of God through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed at the last time” (1 Pet. 1:5)
4. Prayer for the preservation of the United States and for the leaders of this nation at every level of government (local, state and federal) so that the gospel would continue to be preached and that the Lord’s testimony would be strengthened and advance in every locality where it is established and spread to other areas of the country (1 Tim. 2:1-4)
5. The care for the saints in Taiwan in the aftermath of the recent earthquake–A major earthquake occurred in Hualien, Taiwan, on April 3. The meeting hall and some of the saints’ homes were damaged. About 10 saints were injured and were discharged after being admitted to hospital. About forty saints were placed in temporary residences. Please pray for the comfort, care, and safety of the saints in Hualien and for the replacement of the meeting hall
6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)
