Prayer Burdens for January 14, 2025

1. That all the saints would “number our days” and redeem the time so that every day would have eternal value before the Lord

Psalm 90:12 – Teach us then to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Ephesians 5:16 – Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

2. The saints in the church in Los Angeles and the community at large in the wake of the wildfires in the LA area–While direct damage to property among the saints is relatively limited, there are some who are bearing direct loss and suffering, and many more who will be subsequently impacted through loss of livelihood, health challenges, and financial burdens; let us pray for the saints and the people of LA, and stand with the church in LA for their burden for the gospel at this time

3. The citywide young people’s meeting being held this upcoming Saturday in Hall 1

4. The upcoming FTTA gospel trips–From January 23 to February 9, FTTA gospel trip teams will go out to more than 30 cities on the east coast of the United States and 18 countries in Europe to join with local saints for the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom; a total of 277 saints will participate in these trips; let us pray:
a. a. That the Lord will fully cover the travel, safety, security, border crossing, and health of all those involved
b. That the sanctifying Spirit will go before the saints to prepare the hearts of those the Lord has chosen
c. That remaining fruit will be borne in each place visited, and the Lord will add to the churches as His testimony in each of these places
d. For the teams of trainees who will be laboring in NYC, in Upstate NY and in New Jersey

5. The citywide church gathering on Lord’s Day, January 26–Let us pray for every aspect of this gathering, including the attendance of the saints, the Lord’s speaking to the church that day, and all the related practical services

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)
