Prayer Burdens

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for the citywide gathering of the church in NYC this past Lord’s Day and prayer for the Lord to take the church on for the remainder of this year according to the three banners for the church in 2024:

• Loving the brotherhood (1 Pet. 2:17)–That the mutual shepherding in the church life would be strengthened and all the saints would experience the reality of “the brotherhood” (the family of the brothers, the brothers in the feeling of brotherliness)
• Serving in the priesthood (1 Pet. 2:5, 9)–That all the practical services in the church would be spiritual services, part of the holy and royal priesthood, for the building up of the church, the house of God
• Overcoming (John 16:33)–That by the experience of the peace of Christ all the saints may overcome the anxieties of the age in order to live a quiet and tranquil life, an enjoyable church life, in godliness and gravity (1 Tim. 2:2)

2. The semiannual training in Anaheim (July 1-6) and the local video trainings–The general subject is Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (1)

3. Thanksgiving to the Lord for the salvation of our 5th grade children who are entering middle school next year–Let us pray for them by name in each hall, praying for their experience of the assurance and joy of salvation, and for the Lord’s further work in those few who have not yet been saved or baptized

4. The strengthening of the church life throughout the coming months and all the summer activities:
a. The College Training (July 12-16 at Camp Penuel)
b. The Chinese-speaking Perfecting Training (July 19-23 in Cerritos, CA and July 24-28 at Camp Penuel)
c. The Summer School of Truth (July 28-August 4 for high schoolers and August 4-8 for middle schoolers at Camp Penuel)
d. The Family Bible Camp (August 15-17 at Camp Penuel)

5. Prayer for the preservation of the United States and for the leaders of this nation at every level of government (local, state and federal) so that the gospel would continue to be preached and that the Lord’s testimony would be strengthened and advance in every locality where it is established and spread to other areas of the country (1 Tim. 2:1-4)

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. The strengthening of the prayer ministry of the church:
a. That the church would pray with the Lord’s authority and from the position of ascension, and release prayers that bring in and spread the Lord’s kingdom
b. The strengthening of all the prayer meetings in the church

Ephesians 2:6 – And raised us up together with Him and seated us together with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus

Matthew 6:10 – Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth

2. The citywide church gathering this upcoming Lord’s Day, June 23 in Hall 1–Let us pray for every aspect of this gathering, including the attendance of the saints, the Lord’s speaking to the church that day, and all the related practical services

3. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His faithful work among our 5th grade children who are entering middle school next year–Of the 39 children on the prayer list of all nine halls of the church in NYC and the church in Rosendale, 31 believed into the Lord this year and 29 have been baptized within the past two weeks; let us pray for them by name in each hall, praying for their experience of the assurance and joy of salvation, and for the Lord’s further work in those who have not yet been saved or baptized

4. The strengthening of the church life throughout the coming months and all the summer activities:
a. The July semiannual training
b. The College Training
c. The Chinese-speaking Perfecting Training
d. The Summer School of Truth
e. The Family Bible Camp

5. That the Lord would supply the churches in Atlanta, GA, in Quito, Ecuador, and in Ramenskoye, Russia with the funds necessary to build or purchase a proper meeting hall for the strengthening of the church life in these localities

6. The ongoing gospel outreach and Bible distribution during the Torch Relay (throughout France until July 17) and at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for the gospel meeting held this past Saturday and the salvation of the children in grade 5–Around 30 of the fifth graders and middle schoolers were present and they all stood up in response to the call for salvation, either to receive the Lord or to reconfirm their salvation, and five children were baptized; let us pray for the experience of the assurance and joy of salvation and the baptisms of all these newly saved children

2. The citywide church gathering on Lord’s Day, June 23–Let us pray for every aspect of this gathering, including the attendance of the saints, the Lord’s speaking to the church that day, and all the related practical services

3. The ongoing truth pursuit this year in the book of Hebrews–That the love for the Word of God would increase daily in all the saints and that as a result, more and more, the church would have the reality of being the pillar and base of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15)

4. The strengthening of the church life throughout the coming months and all the summer activities:
a. The July semiannual training
b. The College Training
c. The Chinese-speaking Perfecting Training
d. The Summer School of Truth
e. The Family Bible Camp

5. The Bible camps, Summer Schools of Truth and 6th grade conferences being held this week and next week in various localities throughout the United States

6. That the Lord would supply the churches in Atlanta, GA, in Quito, Ecuador, and in Ramenskoye, Russia with the funds necessary to build or purchase a proper meeting hall for the strengthening of the church life in these localities

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. The salvation of the children in grade 5–Let us pray for the gospel meeting which will be held this upcoming Saturday, June 8, at Hall 3 (Flushing); during this time, the serving ones will share the gospel with the children and invite them to open their hearts and pray to receive the Lord

2. The strengthening of all the families and households in the church life–Let us pray for the strengthening of the relationships and the oneness in every household

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for the word released in the Memorial Day Blending Conference this past weekend regarding the topic The Christian Life; let us pray that the Spirit of reality would guide all the saints into the reality of everything that was spoken, and let us also pray for the viewing of these messages this upcoming weekend in many localities throughout Europe, Africa, the Far East and Australasia

2. The Summer School of Truth Teachers’ Training for the churches in the Northeast which will be held this upcoming Saturday, in Hall 1 (Jamaica Estates)

3. The salvation of the children in grade 5–Let us pray for the gospel meeting which will be held on Saturday, June 8, at Hall 3 (Flushing); during this time, the serving ones will share the gospel with the children and invite them to open their hearts and pray to receive the Lord

4. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the children, young people, and college age saints–Let us pray that each one would be preserved and perfected to bear the Lord’s testimony “in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation” and “shine as luminaries in the world” (Phil. 2:15) as they face the attack of the enemy in this dark age

5. Gospel outreach and Bible distribution at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris–Distribution during the Torch Relay began on May 6 and will continue until July 17; after this, distribution will take place in French-speaking Europe during the Olympic and Paralympic Games until September 9; let us pray for the follow up with those who have already been contacted and that the Lord would prepare and bring the saints into contact with many “sons of peace” (Luke 10:6)

6. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His care for the church in NYC and prayer for the church’s further going on:
a. The shepherding of all the saints and all the new ones
b. The strengthening of the church meetings and small group meetings this week
c. The strengthening of the service groups in all nine halls

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. The 2024 International Memorial Day Blending Conference to be held in Bellevue, WA this upcoming weekend and viewed locally online–The general subject of the conference is The Christian Life; let us pray for the Lord’s up-to-date speaking to His entire Body and for our personal response to His speaking

2. The young people–This past Saturday there was a young people’s gospel meeting and 13 friends participated; 3 prayed to receive the Lord, 4 are seeking believers; let us pray for the follow up to this gathering, that those who are still not saved would be saved and that all the others would be shepherded by our young people
