Prayer Burdens for February 18, 2025

1. Maturing in life (Col. 1:28-29)–That we all would grow in life daily unto maturity

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His speaking in the International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) held last weekend; let us pray that the burden of the word on Chapters 5 through 8 of Romans—The Kernel of the Bible would impact all the saints in the recovery

3. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His blessing and speaking in the Young People’s Winter Retreat; let us pray for the going on of all the young people, that each one will develop an intimate, firsthand relationship with the Lord; let us also pray for the monthly citywide young people’s meeting which will be held this upcoming Saturday at Hall 1

4. The Lord’s move in France:
a. That a number of saints will receive the Lord’s burden to serve in French-speaking Europe for one to three months to meet the urgent need for continued shepherding of the new ones contacted over the past several months
b. That by summer 2025 there will be a team of 20 full-time serving ones in Paris to take care of the Lord’s needs throughout France and French-speaking Europe
c. That many students, families, and mature saints will migrate to France within the next several years for the Lord’s interest

5. Meeting Hall in Riga, Latvia–Let us pray that the funds needed to remodel a newly acquired property in Riga would be provided through the Body (Latvia is the central of the three Baltic States and because of its strategic location, the church in Riga serves as a blending center between the Russian-speaking world, Eastern Europe and the Nordic countries)

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for February 11, 2025

1. Magnifying Christ (Phil. 1:20)–That all the saints would have the aspiration to magnify Christ in every aspect of their daily lives and in any situation they pass through

2. The International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) being held in Anaheim, CA and also being viewed online locally this upcoming weekend; the general subject of the conference will be Chapters 5 through 8 of Romans—The Kernel of the Bible

3. The College Conference for the students in the churches in the Northeast which will be held in Ivoryton, CT this upcoming weekend

4. The Winter Retreat for all the young people in the church in NYC which will be held at Camp Penuel (KPCC) beginning this upcoming Lord’s Day (February 18-20)

5. The follow up of the FTTA gospel trips which took place in the United States and Europe over the past two weeks–Let us give thanks for the hundreds that were saved through this endeavor and let us pray for the strengthening of the saints in all the localities which hosted gospel trips, that the local saints would rise up to shepherd the many seekers among those who were contacted and the newly saved and baptized ones; let us pray specifically for the follow up here in NYC and in Upstate NY

6. The corporate truth pursuit this year in the book of Genesis

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for February 4, 2025

1. Numbering our days–That we all would learn to number our days and redeem the time so that every day would have eternal value before the Lord

Psalm 90:12 – Teach us then to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Ephesians 5:16 – Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

2. The going on of the young people and college age saints this semester and the upcoming Winter Retreat for all the young people in the church in NYC which will be held at Camp Penuel (KPCC) from February 16-18

3. The FTTA gospel trips–Let us pray for the gospel outreach of the trainees this week in Upstate NY (Albany and Rosendale), as well as the ongoing outreach in more than 30 cities on the east coast of the United States and 18 countries in Europe; let us also pray for the follow-up by our local saints with those who were contacted in NYC last week

4. The corporate truth pursuit this year in the book of Genesis

5. The saints in the church in Los Angeles and the community at large in the wake of the wildfires in the LA area; let us pray for the saints and the people of LA, and stand with the church in LA for their burden for the gospel at this time

6. The International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) to be held in Anaheim, CA over the weekend of February 14-16

Prayer Burdens for January 28, 2025

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for the citywide gathering of the church in NYC this past Lord’s Day and prayer for the Lord to take the church on this year according to the three banners for the church in 2025:
• Numbering our days (Psa. 90:12)–That we all would learn to “number our days” and redeem the time so that every day would have eternal value before the Lord
• Magnifying Christ (Phil. 1:20)–That we all would magnify Christ in our daily lives
• Maturing in life (Col. 1:28-29)–That we all would grow in life daily unto maturity

2. The FTTA gospel trips–From January 23 to February 9, FTTA gospel teams are traveling to more than 30 cities on the east coast of the United States and 18 countries in Europe to join with local saints for the preaching of the gospel; let us pray:
a. That the Lord will fully cover the travel, safety, security, and health of all those involved
b. That the sanctifying Spirit will go before the saints to prepare the hearts of those the Lord has chosen, the sons of peace (Luke 10:6)
c. That remaining fruit will be borne and the Lord will add to the churches in each of these places
d. For the teams of trainees who are laboring in NYC, in Upstate NY and in New Jersey this week and next week

3. The saints in the church in Los Angeles and the community at large in the wake of the wildfires in the LA area; let us pray for the saints and the people of LA, and stand with the church in LA for their burden for the gospel at this time

Prayer Burdens for January 21, 2025

1. The citywide church gathering this upcoming Lord’s Day in Hall 1–Let us pray for every aspect of this gathering, including the attendance of the saints, the weather, the Lord’s speaking to the church that day, and all the related practical services

2. The saints in the church in Los Angeles and the community at large in the wake of the wildfires in the LA area–While direct damage to property among the saints is relatively limited, there are some who are bearing direct loss and suffering, and many more who are being impacted through loss of livelihood, health challenges, and financial burdens; let us pray for the saints and the people of LA, and stand with the church in LA for their burden for the gospel at this time

3. The upcoming FTTA gospel trips–From January 23 to February 9, FTTA gospel trip teams will go out to more than 30 cities on the east coast of the United States and 18 countries in Europe to join with local saints for the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom; a total of 277 saints will participate in these trips; let us pray:
a. That the Lord will fully cover the travel, safety, security, border crossing, and health of all those involved
b. That the sanctifying Spirit will go before the saints to prepare the hearts of those the Lord has chosen
c. That remaining fruit will be borne in each place visited, and the Lord will add to the churches as His testimony in each of these places
d. For the teams of trainees who will be laboring in NYC, in Upstate NY and in New Jersey

4. Baltic and Nordic Conference in Tallinn, Estonia–A conference will be held in Estonia this upcoming weekend for the churches in the Baltic States and the Nordic countries

5. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)
